I had the honor to interview Hezin O, a graphic designer based in Korea. We talked about her favorite writers to what it means to be a graphic designer. This publication is inspired by graphic design as a form of translation. The small marks and curves emulate symbols usually seen on maps calculating distance. It is the idea that we as designers, keep a healthy distance from a subject or a message, in turn, are able to see it in totality. (Line drawing on the cover is a portrait of Hezin!)
